"THE CENTER PARKING"?

SEDDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

The opening function was held on October 13, 1909. It took in the first patients on November1, 1909.
The hospital was named after  New Zealand premiere Richard John Seddon,  who died in 1906.
It was in use till about 1999










           THE SITE WAS ON THE CORNER OF SALFORD AND WIGAN STREETS

                   THE ONLY STRUCTURES LEFT IN 1919 ARE THE TWO GATES.
